Pre-Wedding Skin & Hair Timeline in West Delhi: What to Start, and When
Quick answer: Most pre-wedding skin and hair plans work backwards from the date rather than forwards from a treatment list. Anything needing a course of sittings — laser hair reduction, pigmentation management, hair fall care, permanent makeup — is usually begun six to twelve months ahead. The final fortnight is for maintenance only. Individual results differ, and an assessment is required.
Why the calendar matters more than the treatment list
Most in-clinic aesthetic work is done in courses, not single sittings, and skin needs a gap between them. Laser hair reduction sittings are typically spaced four to six weeks apart. Peels and microneedling need recovery time in between. Hair fall care is measured in months, because hair grows in cycles. Booking the right treatment three weeks before the wedding usually gives you the downtime without much of the benefit.
There is a second reason to start early, and it is the one people rarely think about: starting early leaves room to stop. If your skin reacts, or a plan is not suiting you, it is far better for that to surface in month eight than in the final fortnight. Suitability differs from person to person, which is why we assess first and recommend second.
12 to 6 months before
This is where anything requiring a long course belongs.
Laser hair reduction. Usually a course of several sittings spaced four to six weeks apart, so the arithmetic alone argues for an early start. It is hair reduction rather than removal, and how many sittings suit you depends on hair type, area and skin tone. What laser hair removal costs in West Delhi covers the pricing side, and why cheap packages often fall short covers what a low headline price usually leaves out.
Hair fall. If shedding is active, this is the window to have the cause looked at rather than the symptom treated. Where a medical plan is advised, PRP or GFC courses run over months, not weeks. PRP vs GFC for hair explains the difference in plain English.
Pigmentation and melasma. These are managed rather than cured, and they can recur — which is exactly why they need runway and consistent sun protection alongside any in-clinic work. Starting nine months out gives a plan time to settle; starting six weeks out generally does not. Options, cost and what to expect.
Post-acne texture and open pores. Microneedling is usually a short course spaced a few weeks apart, and it is not a single-session fix. See microneedling in West Delhi and what actually helps open pores.
Permanent makeup. Brows or lip blush heal over roughly four to six weeks and usually need a review sitting after that, so this does not belong anywhere near the final month. Lip blush and microblading for thin or sparse brows set out what each involves.
6 to 3 months before
This is the consolidation window — you continue what is working and add anything that needs a shorter run-up.
Skin boosters and hydration-led work. Courses such as PDRN or skin boosters are usually spaced a few weeks apart. Salmon DNA and PDRN skin boosters covers what they are and what they are not.
Injectables, if you are considering them. A first-time treatment should not sit close to the date. Allow at least three months, so you know how you respond and there is room for a review. Anti-wrinkle injections and lip fillers explain the timelines involved.
Anything with real downtime. Thread lifts, body work and surgical procedures need recovery measured in weeks. If it is on your list at all, it belongs here or earlier — not later.
3 months to 1 month before
The rule for this window is simple: consolidate, do not experiment. Carry on with the plan you are already on and stop adding to it.
Any final permanent makeup review sitting is generally done at least six weeks out, so colour has time to settle. Non-surgical body work such as fat-dissolving injections takes weeks to show, so a final sitting usually sits eight to ten weeks before the date rather than two.
This is also the point to be honest with yourself about what is realistic. A plan started three weeks ago cannot be compressed, and no clinic should suggest otherwise.
The last two weeks
Maintenance only. A hydrating facial such as a HydraFacial roughly five to seven days before is a common finishing step, largely because it usually needs little downtime — but it is a finishing step, not a plan.
Nothing new in this window. No first-time peel, no first-time laser sitting, no first-time injectable, no threading or waxing changes if you are mid-course on laser. Keep the routine your skin already knows.
What a pre-wedding plan may cost in West Delhi
Costs vary widely by what you actually need, so treat the following as indicative market ranges seen in Delhi rather than a Skulpted price list. A single hydrating facial such as a HydraFacial commonly sits in the region of Rs 3,000 to Rs 8,000. Laser hair reduction is priced per area and per course. Microneedling and peels are priced per session and usually planned as a short course. Permanent makeup is a one-off with a review sitting included.
The exact figure for your plan is confirmed at consultation, once someone has actually looked at your skin and hair. Anyone quoting a bridal package before assessing you is pricing a guess.
Frequently asked questions
When should I start pre-bridal treatments?
For anything involving a course of sittings, six to twelve months before the date is the usual answer. If your date is closer than that, a plan can still be built — it is simply a narrower one, focused on what can be done well in the time available rather than everything on the list.
Can I have laser hair reduction one month before my wedding?
A single sitting a month out is unlikely to complete a course, and starting a new course that close leaves no room for the spacing laser needs. If you are already mid-course, your clinician will usually plan the last sitting comfortably ahead of the date rather than in the final fortnight.
Is a HydraFacial before the wedding a good idea?
As a finishing step roughly five to seven days before, it is a common choice because it typically needs little downtime. It is not a treatment for a medical skin condition and it will not do the work of a plan you never started. How your skin responds differs from person to person.
Will one session of anything make a visible difference?
Occasionally, and modestly. Most in-clinic work is designed as a course precisely because single sittings do less. Any clinic promising a single-session transformation before a wedding is overpromising, and that is worth walking away from.
What if I have sensitive or acne-prone skin?
Then the case for starting early is stronger, not weaker. Sensitive and acne-prone skin usually needs a gentler ramp-up and more review points, and it needs time to react safely in a window where a plan can still be changed. Patch testing and device selection also matter more on deeper Indian skin tones, not less.
