Under-eye darkness has several different causes: pigment sitting in the skin, hollowing that reads as shadow, thin skin showing the vessels beneath, or mild laxity. They can look similar in the mirror and respond very differently, which is why an assessment comes before any recommendation. Depending on the cause, options may include a topical plan, in-clinic treatment or fillers. Individual results differ, and a consultation is required.
